You can take advantage of coupons and codes online to save money every month. We recently saved $18 at Khols with a printable coupon we found online. You don't have to get a credit card to get 20 percent off;rather, you just have to spend a few minutes online to find amazing money saving deals.

Today, we'll look at ways  you can almost always save some money when shopping in store or online. If you try these tips,then you will save money every month. We've save more than $40 already this month.


1. Clearance Section
Most stores will have a clearance sale section. We've found items for up to 80 percent off in this sections. Most retailers have a link to their sales sections on their websites. When you are in the stores,it is usually at the back where most of us go last or don't go at all.

2. Email Notification
Online vendors want us to spend more ,so they try to entice us with great savings. Sign up to get as many notification as you can;they will save you money. It takes a little time, but it can save you a lot. You will get daily deals delivered to your email for FREE.

3. Off Peak
Some online stores drop their prices late at night due to inventory control. We've found deals for as much as 75 percent off the regular price. The trick is to shop online very late in the night (usually after 12AM).

4. Use promo codes
You can almost always find a promo code for almost all online retailers. Websites such as Retailmenot and Slickdeals can save you a chunk. You can also Google the store you are interested in followed by promo code. For example,if you are looking to save at Children Place then you would enter something like the following string into the Google search box "Children Place promo code". The search term will return sites that offer you opportunities to get your savings on.

5. Like Them
Many companies are establishing their presence on Facebook and if you take notice ,then they will reward you. It's common for companies to give you coupons and freebies if you "Like" their pages. I recently got free pizza for liking to a huge pizza franchise. Facebook can keep you connected to family,friends and deals.

How to get your emails read

Do you send tons of email but you’re not getting much response back ? It does not have to be that way. Sometime we are the cause of receiver not reading and replying to our emails. Most people are swamped and getting long, boring and unclear emails will cause them to not take action.

Today, we will look at methods you could use to get your emails read almost always.

1. Less is more

Long emails are a huge turn off. Keep it simple and short. A lot of us get hundreds of emails daily and don't have the time or the patience to read email that look like essays. However, there are exceptions to the rules such as someone asking for steps to complete a task. Most people will give priority to short emails because they don't have the time to read and reply to Novels. If you have lengthy issues  then send a simple and short email requesting an appointment.

2. Subject Line

The subject line may be the most important thing you write in your email. Most busy people don't have time pay attention to emails with "hi" in the subject line. If you need HR to fix your personal time then in the subject line write something like "fixing personal time". When they see that subject line they will know what type of action they might have to take and will want to read more of your email. Sending them a "hi" subject line probably will get your email pushed to the back of the queue.

3. Ask questions

If you want an answer, then you must ask the appropriate question. If you want a yes or no answer then ask that type of question. For example, you might send an email to asking are we meeting today. But if you wanted more then ask are we meeting Tuesday at 3 or Friday at 1. Asking a question will prompt the receiver to take action; they will react by replying to your emails.

4. Proofread

No one wants to waste time figuring out what you are trying to say. Turn your spell checker on and put on your grammar thinking cap on. Yes, you can get away with this when you deal with friends but not in the workplace. None of us is perfect but always take a few minutes to review your emails before you send them.

5. Don't Nag

We must realize that people are busy. When you're emailing your supervisor or coworker ,you should acknowledge that you know they are busy and that they can get back to you when they get a chance. This will cause them to reply even faster to your email because you have expressed your understanding of their situation. We must think of others' situation when we seek solutions for ourselves. Emailing someone 10 times for the same thing will annoy them and most likely lead to those annoying emails being ignored.


6. Thank people

When someone does something you requested in an email, then you should thanks them. This will cause them to pay more attention your future emails. You can do this both right after your request is completed and when asking for something in a future request.

Most of us use Google everyday several times a day. Do you sometimes get results that are irrelevant. Technology should speed  us up not slow us down. There are some tricks you can use that will make your Googling more efficient and fun.
 
1. All in title

If you are looking for sites/pages with specific content  you can use this command. Most sites have a descriptive title that will help you to narrow down your search. Let's say you wanted to find sites or blogs related to home remedy for sick dogs, then you would type the following into Google allintitle:"home remedy for sick dogs" and click search.

2. More is better

You can search for more than one term. Using the + sign you can combine more than one  string to narrow down your search. If you wanted cool dog toys and you entered that into Google you get a slew of sites that had any one of those terms in it. To get a more precise type into Google "cool+dog+toys". This will return sites that contain all three of your terms.

3. Less is more

Inversely,you could exclude terms from a search. Let's say you were looking for dog trainer but one who don't offer boot camps. You would enter "dog trainer" - "boot camp". Your pouch will love you for not being so gun hoe.

4. Calculate it

You can use google as a calculator. If you quickly need to run a calculation then enter it into Google and hit search. For example, if you wanted to know how much you spend at Petco on dog food last week you would enter into Google 25+32.5+10.16+65.32 and hit search. Whoa doggie grub is sure expensive.


5. Deal Finder

Google shopping can help you find deals online and save time. On the Google page click Shopping and enter the item you are looking for. You don't have to type into Google how much do designer leash cost;rather,you could click Shopping and enter designers dog leash.  After the items are found you can sort to find the cheapest deals. Shipping and taxes are displayed and included in the prices to us make a more frugal choice. 


At the end of the day, you still need to filter your results but using these tips you will  significantly narrow down your results. Finding 100 sites is much easier and less frustrating  to work with than 1,000,000.

How to lose weight at work

Everyone wants to live a healthy and happy life. But it's not that easy; you have a busy schedule packed with  responsibilities such as  work,school, family, and all the lovely surprises life often gives you. For most of us our work fills a huge part of our day. We want to lose weight but  that is last thing we have time for. It does not have to be that way. These tips will show you how to lose weight at work.
 
1. Move More

Work does not have to be boring; you can have some fun and maybe lose a few pounds too. Fidgeting can help you lose weight. Click your fingers, move your legs back and forth, and of course walk over to your coworkers instead of sending a lazy email. Also taking the stairs when possible helps to melt those love handles away. Take the stairs instead of the elevator.


2. Stand Up 

Did you know that simply standing can help you to burn calories ? You can burn 200 or more calories if you stand for 1 hour.  You can use this tip while going to or at work. If you take public transportation to and from work and stand five days ,then you are burning at least 2000 calories in those 5 days. Also standing at work while on calls or reading work related material could also help to blast the fat away.

3. Drink Water

Drinking more water will help you eat less. Eating less will help you to loose weight. Drinking water before meals will trick your brains into thinking that you are full and you'll eat less and lose more weight. Also cutting out high sugar drinks (AKA soda and juices) will help. The trick is to have a bottle of water close to your desk and keep on refilling it throughout the day. Trust me on this, I do it almost everyday. As a result, that has allow me to eat less,feel fuller, and lose weight. If you are too busy to remember,then you should set an alert on your Blackberry, iPhone or whatever smartphone you use. Technology can help us lose weight.

4. Take a Walk

A ten minutes walk could make a huge difference in your short and long term health. Try dividing your lunch break into two parts;the first part you will eat and the second part you go for a walk. Spending an entire hour engaged in just sitting and talking will not help you with your short term or long term health goals. You could also try doing what the Subway guy does;he takes long walk to get lunch.

Everyone want to be healthy but finding the balance between work and a healthy lifestyle is challenging. The good news is that we can have both.  Try the tips to start losing weight at work and living healthy and happy life.

But you didn’t bother to follow up because it seemed like a daunting task. It doesn't have to be.

You don't need a lot of money. You don't need a lot of time. But you will need to have an intention to improve someone's life. Today, we will look at a couple of ways you can start changing the world.

1. Start with yourself

We will not be able to change the outside world until we can change what is inside of us. You have to stop thinking that one person can't make a difference. You can.

2. Start small

Starting small  allows us to set achievable goals. Thinking big is a great idea but most of us find difficult to eat an elephant all at once.  If we can complete small goals today, then we will be able to achieve the big ones tomorrow. Criticizing and complaining will not change the situation but taking positive incremental actions will. Initially, don't set out to change your failing school district; rather, you should start by tutoring a group of kids in your neighborhood for FREE.

3. Contribute Online

I am not talking about money (but that would also be nice). You can share your years of experience by answering questions or giving advice on Facebook, Twitter, forums or even leaving comments on blogs. Trust me; you have much more to offer than you realize. Some individual are just waiting for your insights. Go for it. Get out there and make us proud!

4. Spend time with your kids

If you don't have kids this may still apply to you. You must realize the positive moments you spend with your children will shape their identity forever; as a result, you will be changing their world.  Your kids will be off to college sooner than you think. Spend quality time with them before they are gone.  Regret is very hard to live with. If you are not a parent, then you may be an aunt, uncle, or even a concerned nosey neighbor who will get involved when you see "something".

5. Be positive

The saying misery loves company is true; likewise, being and having positive vibes will resonate with the world around you. It's an amazing thing when someone could be having a horrible day and a positive word from YOU makes them forget all their miseries.

Every single one of us has the ability to change the world. Use these tips as a starting point to changing the world.

 Do you always feel that people are out to get you? 

You may have been lied to and betrayed in the past ,so you feel safer to keep your guards up. There is nothing wrong with that but doing so makes life miserable. I am not saying to blindly trust everyone but generally trusting people will allow us  to live a fuller, happier, and more meaningful life.

Today, we will look at some methods we can implement that will allow us to trust people.

1. Think good of others

There are still good people in the world; you just have to give them a chance. When you meet someone don't form any negative thoughts about them. Just because someone looks a certain way does not mean he/she is what you perceive them to be. 

2. Tell the truth

If we lie, then we will think that others will lie to us. Always tell the truth even if it is goes against you. One little lie could lead to as huge lack of trust. Honesty is still the best policy.

3. Be understanding

Everyone make mistakes, so we must understand when others do the same. We should not distrust our coworkers, friends or family members if they make a mistake or do something we don't fully understand. If Bob, your coworker, says that he can't make it to lunch without any explanation, then you should think he has a good reason and will inform you later. You may think that Bob has something to hide or no longer likes you. Bob has been always cool and trustworthy since you meet him. You should not let this incident cause you to stop trusting him. A week later, you find out that Bob went to see the doctor that day he did not have lunch with you. He has a serious medical condition is leaving the company. We must understand that there is much more going on in the world other than us.  

4. Think Logically

We need to be more logical in and about life. Sometimes, we let our emotions carry us away.  Bob has always been a nice and trustworthy guy. However, your emotion got the best of you, so you started to give him the cold shoulder after the lunch incident. Think about it logically. Why would he want to do something to hurt or make you feel bad? What is in it for him? He had his reasons for not sharing that he is dying of colon cancer.

5. Forgive

If we to want trust people, then we must be able to forgive them. We all make mistakes, and it takes a courageous person to let go of their pride to say I am sorry, I messed up, and could you forgive me. It takes a even bigger person to forgive someone who admits to making a mistake and continues to trust that person they forgave. You apologize to Bob, and he said, "don't worry about it." He also told you that life is too short to hold grudges.

Trusting others is not an easy task, but we must trust others if we want to taste the sweetness of life. Use the methods in this post as a starting point. Trust me; life is too short to not trust people.

How to find your passion in 2 minutes or less

  Are you doing what you love ? Do you jump out of bed looking forward to the day ahead ? If you're not; it does not have to be that way. You deserve to get to where you want to be in life. And finding your passion will get you there.

Today we will look at 5 ways  you can find your passion in 2 minutes or less.

1. Strong intention (10 seconds)

Have a strong intention  by the end of this post you will work on whatever you discover you're passionate about.  Weak intentions will only yield weak results. 


2. Write it down (30 seconds)

Take out a blank sheet of paper and write down 10 things you deeply care about or would to like to become. Don't think just write non stop for 20 seconds. Let your hands write what is in your heart. At the end of this exercise select the top three things and cross everything else out. Then cross out 2 more ,and you will be left with the one that you will put all your heart and soul into accomplishing.  

3. Visualize (20 seconds)

Close your eyes and imagine you could be or do any of those top things you wrote down. You will not become what you can not imagine. Remember,you deserve to get to where you are try to get to.

4. Have a plan (50 second)

Combine  what you deeply care about (step 1) and what you want to pursue  (step 2). Then write a mini  outline on how you think you might get there. Don't over think this;you can always modify it.

5. Commit to take action everyday (10 second)

Steps 1 to 4  will be useless if you don't take immediate action. It will take time, hard work and patience ,but you will eventually get there if you make a commitment to  take action every day.

Example:

If  you are passionate about blogging and want to be a rock star blogger then everyday you should learn something new and implement it to grow your blog and improve your skills. You should learn how Youtube, Facebook,Twitter,Social Bookmarks, and SEO can help grow your blog. Most importantly you will be obsessed with providing value to your readers. Don't waste your time over thinking and thinking and thinking;just take action right now.

Deep down in our hearts, we all have an idea of what we are  passionate about and want to pursue ,but we are scared or just too comfortable to take action. Acting on these five steps will  get you closer to your goals.

Do you find it hard to save money ? And you feel guilty when you spend. We need to spend to live,but we don't have to pay full price. These tips will give you ideas how  you can save money when  shopping online.

1. Clearance Section

Almost all online retailers have a clearance or sale link on their website. Find it and start saving today.

2. Email Alerts

Online merchants actually want to save you money. If you sign up to their community/alerts they will email you daily deals and discounts. I get alerts from Macy's,Gap,Buy,Children Place and others that save us money. These alerts cost nothing and you could save you a lot.

3. Google Shopping

You can use Google to search and  to save money. Type into Google the item you are interested in and hit shopping. Google will search the whole Internet for your item. When the results are returned you can sort the prices to find the lowest price that includes shipping and handling.

4. Shop at off peak hours

I can't prove this one ,but it has worked for me. I've found some outrageous deals,more than 80 percent off ,online around and after 1 AM mostly on the weekend. It may have something to do with inventory control. You will have to try it and find out.

5. Use promo codes

There are discount codes sprinkled all over the internet just waiting for you;you just have to know where and how  to find them. Below is a list of popular sites that could save you some nice change.

How to solve a tough problem

Complicated Math EquationHave you ever solved a problem that was downright painstaking ? Of course you have; we all have! Some people choose to give up or get frustrated. But this is not you;you face challenges in the eye and take them head on. But we all sometimes need some encouragement and techniques to get over the hump.

1. Don't give up

Giving up will only get you further from a solution. If you give up when it gets hard you will not lose the weight you intended;rather you may fall into a slump and gain more weight then you started with. Edison tried to get the light bulb right over 10,000 times.  If he did not give up even after 10,000 tries why are we giving up on our weight loss goals after only 3 or 4 tries.

Did you know that the Google guys wanted to sell Google to AltaVista for one million dollars but AltaVista basically told them to get lost ? They did not give up;rather, they kept building their empire and today Google worth billions. Read "The Google Story" for more;it is an awesome read. Where would we be today if Edison or the Google guys gave up ?

Use your entire life  to achieve your goals or at least try 1,000 times to find the solutions you seek.


2. Have a plan B

Sometimes in life things don't always go as planned and having a back up plan will lead to better solutions than just giving up. If you are trying to lose weight and you started to eat less ,but your still not losing weight then you may need to add exercise to your regime. The key is, you still stick with your goals, but you modify the ways to get there.

3. Learn From Your Mistakes

Failure is your friend but at the same time you should not keep repeating the same error over and over. Make new mistakes and learn from them. When I started my weight loss goal; I did not lose any weight, but I realized that my late night snacking was the culprit. One week later, after I cut those snacks out, I lost 2 pounds.

4. Walk away and come back

Sometime taking a break and returning will help you solve your problem. You can collect your thoughts and regroup. Taking a day off from your diet regime will lead to much better results. You are not cheating ;you are living. You are not living to diet; rather, you are dieting to improve your life.


5.Piece by Piece


How do you eat an elephant ? Piece by piece of course. Breaking big problems down into smaller manageable pieces,will help you find solutions you seek. Don't try to lose 100 pounds start with 10 then 20 and so one. These targets are more achievable and will ultimately get you to your goal.
